What I know about Michael Jackson
Michael Jackson, one of the most successful music singers of all time who known as The King of Pop had collapsed and pronounced to be dead on June 25, 2009. Everyone all over the world feels sad for losing such a superstar and mourned for him.
What I know about Michael Jackson? I just simply know two major things about this one of the famous people that is Jackson’s extensive use of plastic surgery and child molestation.
Jackson was born a cute, normal looking African-American boy. As he found early fame in the Jackson Five and then later as a solo artist, Jackson’s apparent addiction to surgery began. People noticed the modification of Jackson’s appearance by his narrowed nose over the years. Although he claimed the rhino plastic surgery was to repair a broken nose resulting from an accident, but his nose had thought to have had 10 operations for it looked abnormally narrow. Another obvious change in Jackson was the lightening of his skin. Jackson was apparently diagnosed with vitiligo and lupus, which cause pigmentation loss. The treatment he used for his condition further lightened his skin tone but the overall change suggested ‘skin bleaching’.
In 1993, we were shocked by the news where Jackson was accused of child sexual abuse by a 13 year-old boy. The child’s father and Jackson finally engaged in unsuccessful negotiations to reach a financial settlement out of Court. Later Jordan told a psychiatrist and police that he and Jackson had engaged in acts of kissing, masturbation and oral sex.
As Michael Jackson passed away recently, I only learnt more about him from various mass communications. Jackson’s successful career has gained him legions of devoted fans, yet his father’s strict discipline had contributed to it. But Jackson often cried from loneliness during his childhood because of his father’s abuse. Jackson owned fame and wealth but he was not happy. People remember Jackson’s tabloid media, but we always forget about his contribution to the music, public and the entire world.
Rest in peace, Michael Jackson.
